Chris Brown thanked U.S. Rep. Jasmine Crockett for honouring him at AT&T Stadium in Arlington on 12 September, saying he is "not political". In an Instagram Story reported by Billboard, he apologised for backlash she faced after placing him and Usher in the Congressional Record. He pleaded guilty to felony assault in 2009.
