Liverpool beat Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield on 15 September to reach the fourth round of the Carabao Cup. Alexis Mac Allister opened the scoring, Cody Gakpo added a second and substitute Dominik Szoboszlai struck late. Spurs replied with a consolation.
