U.S. Diesel Hits $6.27 Record

Nearly $6.27 a gallon for U.S. diesel on average — a new record, AAA reported Sept. 15, 2026. I'm watching whether it sticks. If pumps stay this high, freight costs filter through and leave households with less to spend.
