Antstream used AI drafts for James Pond Legacy artwork

Antstream put 2D concepts for James Pond Legacy into a model to produce pseudo-3D drafts for visualisation, then artists manually repainted and finalised them. System 3 chief executive Mark Cale shared the December statement with GameSpot. It conflicts with System 3's blog post published 19 August 2026 claiming no generative AI use.
