Michelle Yeoh plays a retired gifted doctor forced back to the operating room at gunpoint in The Surgeon, Deadline reported in its TIFF Studio interview. Martin Freeman co-stars as the gang leader behind the abduction, Deadline reported. Written and directed by Roshan Sethi, the action thriller first screened Sept 12 at the Royal Alexandra Theatre, Deadline reported.
