U.S. Data Centers Could Use More Gas Than Germany and Japan by 2035

U.S. data centers could use about 18 billion cubic feet of natural gas per day by 2035, according to BloombergNEF, more than Germany and Japan combined. The figure covers gas burned on site, plus gas burned in power plants supplying data centers connected to the electric grid.
