The Joan Mitchell Foundation in the United States has published "Creating Future Memory", ARTnews reported on 15 September 2026. The Foundation said the report covers artist legacy stewardship, the care of studios, archives, artworks and rights after work stops, in the United States and explores field-building. The Foundation called the publication a call to action and an invitation.
