The Last of Us Season 3 planned as final season, HBO says

HBO executive Casey Bloys says he believes showrunner Craig Mazin has planned The Last of Us Season 3 as the final season. He told Deadline the final call rests with the showrunners. The plan would reverse Mazin's earlier view that a fourth season was essential, following 2025 discussions of one long season versus two.
