Lancashire were bowled out for 161 after Kent chose to field at Canterbury in Division Two. Kent closed day one on 151-7, 10 runs behind. Khaled Ahmed took 5-42 and Matt Milnes 4-28, with Zak Crawley unbeaten on 68. James Anderson took three for Lancashire. Bad light stopped play with two overs remaining.
