
Studios and unions propose 20% federal credit to double US film output
MPA and union coalition unveiled a report 15 September proposing a 20% federal credit on production labour costs. It projects 143,500 jobs a year and a doubling of domestic film production by 2032, with $125.3bn extra spending through 2035, Variety reported.
