Ed Sheeran says promoter dropped Macklemore after venues threatened to cancel shows

Ed Sheeran says promoter Messina Touring Group removed Macklemore from the US leg of his Loop Tour. In a 15 September Instagram statement, Sheeran said venues would pull shows if Macklemore stayed as support after his 'Free Palestine' demonstrations. Messina said on 14 September keeping him would cancel dates for hundreds of thousands of fans.
