Universal Music Group sues DistroKid over undisclosed AI tracks

Universal Music Group has sued distributor DistroKid in the US District Court for the District of Delaware. UMG alleges deceptive trade practices and copyright infringement, claiming DistroKid floods platforms with undisclosed AI-generated 'slop' that siphons revenue and listeners. UMG says its complaint is not about AI music clearly disclosed as such.
