Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh polishes quartz in Lusaka on Zambia tour

Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh helped shape and polish a piece of quartz at Jewel of Africa in Lusaka Tuesday, on day two of her six-day Zambia tour. The family-owned firm, founded in 1992, buys ethically sourced stones directly from Zambian mines. The visit runs through Sept. 19, with stops in Lower Zambezi and Livingstone.
