Nigel Dick first told Guns N' Roses manager he would not direct 'Welcome to the Jungle'

Music video director Nigel Dick writes in his memoir Music Video Mischief, released Sept. 15, that he initially told then-Guns N' Roses manager Alan Niven he could not or would not direct 'Welcome to the Jungle'. Dick went on to direct the video, according to a Rolling Stone excerpt published Sept. 15.
