Spotify lets parents exclude kids' music from taste profile

Spotify announced on Sept. 15 a setting letting parents keep kids and family music out of their taste profile, the data shaping recommendations. Spotify said excluded streams will not feed Discover Weekly, Daily Mix or Spotify Wrapped, the year-end recap. Playback is unaffected. The control is rolling out globally on mobile, Billboard reported.
