U.S. confirms Space Force space-control weapons in orbit

U.S. Air Force Secretary Troy Meink said Monday that Space Force weapons for controlling space are deployed in orbit around Earth. Speaking at the Air, Space, Cyber Conference, he offered no details. It is the first public acknowledgment by a service secretary of U.S. weapons in space, moving discussion from possible capability to stated policy.
