GM Keeps CarPlay, Android Auto as Small Windows on 2027 Silverado, Sierra

Apple CarPlay and Android Auto will stay on the 2027 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500. They will run in picture-in-picture windows, small overlays inside GM's own display, rather than taking over the full screen. GM's new truck software arrives later this year.
