Diablo 5 plans return of set items

Blizzard plans to bring back gear-based set items in Diablo 5, executive producer Matt Zitterman told GameSpot at BlizzCon. Set items, weapons and armour worn together for bonus powers, were absent when Diablo 4 launched in 2023. Zitterman said the team has ideas to stop full sets narrowing loot choices. Diablo 5 is not expected to release until 2029.
