Venice best actress Mathilde Arcel signed on at job centre days before win

Danish actor Mathilde Arcel won the Volpi Cup for best actress at Venice for Woman Unknown, her first leading feature role, according to The Guardian. Arcel, 30, told The Guardian she lives on unemployment benefits between films. She flew to Denmark to sign on after the premiere, then returned to the Lido for the gala, according to The Guardian.
