Coons seeks third full term in Delaware Senate primary

Sen. Chris Coons, a Democrat, is running for a third full term in Delaware's Sept. 15 primary, which picks the party's nominee. He faces Jeff Appelhans, Mary Louve, and Eric Hansen — the 2024 Republican nominee now listed as 'E. No-Trump Hansen.' The winner runs in the Nov. 3 midterm election. Republicans haven't won a Delaware Senate seat since 1994.
