Hacks takes two Emmys from record 24 comedy nominations

Hacks entered its fifth and final season with 24 nominations, the most ever for a comedy series in a single year, The Hollywood Reporter reported. It left the 2026 Emmys with two trophies, including a Creative Arts picture-editing prize, which honours craft categories, the Reporter reported. Jean Smart won best actress, her fifth win for the role, Consequence reported.
