Kore-eda Hirokazu to receive Singapore festival's Cinema Honorary Award

Japanese director Kore-eda Hirokazu will receive the Cinema Honorary Award at the 37th Singapore International Film Festival, Variety reported. He will collect the festival's top prize for a lasting mark on Asian cinema at an In Conversation With session on Oct. 24, Variety reported. The festival runs Oct. 21 to Nov. 1, Variety reported.
