Colbert's Late Show wins variety series Emmy in final season

The Late Show with Stephen Colbert won outstanding variety series at the 78th Primetime Emmy Awards at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on Sept. 14, according to Billboard. It won six Emmys for its final season, the most in any one season.
