Hiro Murai first Asian director to win Emmy for comedy directing

Hiro Murai won Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series at the 78th Emmy Awards for the "Widow's Bay" premiere "Welcome to Widow's Bay!", according to Variety. Variety reported he is the first Asian director to win the category and only the third Asian director to win in any category.
