Minister says 'ongoing matter' involves Labour candidate and ex-superintendent Naidoo

Police Minister Mark Mitchell says there is an "ongoing matter" involving Labour candidate Rakesh Naidoo, a former superintendent — a senior police rank — but would not say what it is. Mitchell said he could not comment further, RNZ reported. Police would not comment. Labour says it has not been told of any investigation.
