Supreme Court Keeps Mail-Voting Rules Ahead of Congressional Elections

The Supreme Court turned down the Trump administration’s emergency request to enforce new mail-ballot limits before November’s congressional elections. Since voting has already started, states will continue using their established mail-voting systems. The unsigned order said the government is unlikely to overturn the court order that paused the Postal Service rule.
