Anthropic slowdown call sinks Nvidia and chip stocks

Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei called to slow AI development Sept. 14, 2026, and U.S. stocks fell, the Wall Street Journal reported. Reuters said AI worries hit Nvidia and chipmakers hard, with AI-linked stocks dropping worldwide. Since index funds are concentrated in tech, wobbles dent retirement savings fast. I doubt one call resets AI spending.
