Kusama's final overseen retrospective opens at Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam

Artnet reports the last exhibition Yayoi Kusama helped shape before her death has opened at the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam. The touring retrospective runs 11 September 2026 to 17 January 2027, the museum says. Artnet describes it as the last show in which Kusama herself had a hand. The Stedelijk calls it a posthumous tribute celebrating her life and work.
