Kevin Pietersen appointed specialist mentor to England white-ball teams

Kevin Pietersen has been appointed Specialist Mentor to England's white-ball teams for September's T20 and ODI series against Sri Lanka. Head coach Brendon McCullum said he drove the appointment and asked Pietersen to 'look across the environment and challenge me'. Pietersen watched training at the Utilita Bowl and addressed players, leaving them 'buzzing', McCullum said.
