Luciana Paes and Camila Márdila will star as sisters Amélia and Luiza in Rafaela Camelo's The Favorite Daughter (A Filha Favorita), Variety reported on 14 September 2026. The film is Camelo's follow-up to The Nature of Invisible Things, which premiered at the Berlin Film Festival in 2025, Variety reported.
