Vimeo doubles Short Film Grant to $300,000 for five filmmakers

Vimeo will split $300,000 among five emerging filmmakers in its second annual Short Film Grant Program, Variety reported. Winners receive funding for an original short plus mentorship and resources, Variety reported. Inaugural programme drew more than 3,100 submissions and second edition is backed by Panavision, Other World Computing, AJA and ShotDeck, Variety reported.
