Hargitay first woman in 15 years to host Primetime Emmys

Mariska Hargitay will host the 78th Primetime Emmy Awards on Sept. 14 at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, Billboard reported. It is the first time in 15 years a woman has hosted, after Jane Lynch in 2011. Hargitay is only the fourth woman this century to host.
