SkyShowtime faces possible wind down as owners start review

Comcast and Paramount Skydance have opened a strategic review of SkyShowtime that includes a possible wind down, meaning a phased closure, Variety reported on 14 September 2026, citing a board letter to chief executive Monty Sarhan. The board said no decisions have been made. The co-owned service launched in late 2022 in more than 20 European territories, according to Variety.
