Santa Monica cancels inaugural Ocean Way Festival over Hurricane Marie erosion

The City of Santa Monica cancelled Goldenvoice's inaugural Ocean Way Festival, due 26-27 September on Santa Monica beach, because of erosion from Hurricane Marie. Goldenvoice, the organiser behind Coachella, said the city made the call two weeks out after storm surf damaged the stretch between Santa Monica Pier and Bay Street.
