Bath mat woven from human hair shown in Berlin

Carlotta Talkenberger wove a bath mat from human hair, Dezeen reported. It is one of eight projects in Behind Closed Doors: The Culture of Circularity, the outlet reported, by Design Academy Eindhoven in the Netherlands and bathroom company Kaldewei at Berlin design festival Currents. The academy said the show runs 9-18 September 2026 at the KALDEWEI Brand Space.
