St George's Chapel weddings require permission of King Charles

Marriage at St George's Chapel requires permission of the sovereign, now King Charles. The chapel is a Royal Peculiar, a church governed directly by the monarch rather than a diocese. Even royals must seek approval. Eligibility is limited to the Royal Family, Windsor Castle residents and staff, College of St George residents, and Garter knights and their immediate families.
