Honda replaces F1 engine chief Kakuda with Fukao

Honda will replace F1 power-unit chief Tetsushi Kakuda with deputy Yoichiro Fukao on 1 October. Honda called it a planned transition to pass expertise to next-generation engineers and build a competitive power unit — the hybrid engine system. The works Aston Martin partnership sits 10th of 11 teams.
