The official Pretenders documentary Pretenders had its world premiere at the Toronto Film Festival, Hynde's accounts said on 13 September 2026. Directed by Joss Crowley, it centres on Chrissie Hynde and her band, Variety reported on 14 September 2026. TIFF lists Pretenders in its programme.
