The Last of Us Part 2 PC multiplayer mod cancelled after Sony request

Mod team Speclizer says its unofficial PC multiplayer mod for The Last of Us Part 2 will not release after a letter sent on behalf of Sony Interactive Entertainment requesting it stay unpublished, at the request of Naughty Dog and PlayStation. Speclizer disclosed the request in a statement reported 13 September 2026.
