Chicago beat Carolina 59-37 on Sept. 13 in the highest-scoring season opener in NFL history. The 96 combined points topped the 88 from Tampa Bay's 48-40 win over New Orleans in 2018. Caleb Williams accounted for four touchdowns, D'Andre Swift ran for three scores as Chicago set a franchise opener record.
