Josh Kerr wins 1500m to become first Ultimate Champion

Josh Kerr of Great Britain won the men's 1500m in Budapest to become the first men's 1500m Ultimate Champion. The 2023 world champion and Olympic silver medallist struck at the inaugural World Athletics Ultimate Championship on 11-13 September 2026. He arrived with the world lead of 3:27.62, the fastest mark of the year so far.
