
Carney to meet Macron Sept. 20 on energy, defence and technology
Prime Minister Mark Carney will meet French President Emmanuel Macron in Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon on Sept. 20 to discuss energy and defence cooperation. Talks will also cover aerospace, critical minerals — metals needed for batteries and electronics — plus quantum satellites and supercomputing. The Prime Minister's Office announced the trip Sept. 13.
