Blizzard ends Diablo 4 expansions to focus on Diablo 5

Blizzard has no plans for further Diablo 4 expansions, game director Brent Gibson said in an interview at BlizzCon. The team will focus on seasons, free limited-time updates, and on Diablo 5, slated for release in Spring 2029. Gibson said the Lord of Hatred expansion closed the "story of Hatred".
