Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo world premiered at Toronto as third entry

Miike Takashi's 'Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo' world premiered in Special Presentations at Toronto, Variety reported on 13 September. Variety lists Shun Oguri as a gambling-addicted Tokyo cop with Lily James as a missing politician's daughter. The U.S.-U.K.-Japan-France co-production is the third entry after Ferrara's 1992 original and Herzog's New Orleans reboot, Variety notes.
