Brigid Kosgei wins Great North Run in 1:06:15

Kenya's Brigid Kosgei won the women's Great North Run in 1:06:15 on 13 September, finishing more than two minutes clear of compatriot Sheila Chepkirui on the Newcastle to South Shields half marathon. Amy-Eloise Neale was fifth and first Briton. Kosgei holds the course record of 1:04:28.
