Trump Promises $5,000 Checks if Republicans Keep House

President Donald Trump said every American adult would get a $5,000 check if Republicans keep control of the U.S. House after the midterm elections for Congress. He called the idea the 'Trump dividend' in his closing speech at the party's midterm convention in Dallas, NPR and PBS NewsHour reported.
