Rybakina beats Sabalenka to win US Open and stop three-peat

Elena Rybakina beat Aryna Sabalenka 6-4, 5-7, 6-2 to win the US Open on 12 September at Arthur Ashe. Sabalenka arrived as two-time defending champion. Rybakina blocked a third straight title. It is her first US Open title and third Grand Slam overall. The final lasted 2 hours 21 minutes. New champion.
