Janine Antoni licked chocolate busts and bathed with soap busts to make self-portraits

Janine Antoni shaped her 1993 'Lick and Lather' — fourteen self-portrait busts, sculpted heads and upper torsos — by licking the chocolate ones and bathing with the soap ones, the Hirshhorn Museum in Washington, D.C. says. The National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C. records seven busts in each material.
