Ryan Garcia beats Conor Benn to retain WBC welterweight title

Ryan Garcia retained his WBC welterweight title with a majority decision over Conor Benn on 12 September at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Two judges scored for Garcia, one even. It was his first defence since February's win over Mario Barrios. Benn, 29, lost his unbeaten record in his first world-title fight.
