Rybakina beats Sabalenka to win US Open

Elena Rybakina beat Aryna Sabalenka 6-4, 5-7, 6-2 in New York to win the US Open. It is her first US Open title and third Grand Slam after Wimbledon in 2022 and the Australian Open earlier in 2026. She took the opener, lost the second, then won the decider 6-2 against the two-time defending champion.
